Not enough tokens for publication
Starting May 2026, the X platform (Twitter) charges for the use of its API. An API is a special interface that allows our service to "communicate" with the social network and automatically publish your posts. Due to this innovation, we are also forced to charge an additional fee for publications in this social network.
Cost calculation examples
The cost of one operation (API request) is 10 tokens.
- Text post: 1 publication request = 10 tokens.
- Post with one image: 1 media upload request + 1 post publication request = 20 tokens.
- Post with two images: 2 media upload requests + 1 post publication request = 30 tokens.
- Video: video uploading is performed in several stages (initialization, data loading, status check). Sometimes the file upload does not happen the first time, and we request a status check more than once, so publishing a video requires a larger number of API requests.
