Common errors
📄️ Authorization error: The social network has reset access
This error means that Postmypost no longer has access to your social network account. This is a standard procedure: social networks may occasionally reset the connection to ensure that access remains up to date. In most cases, simply reconnecting the account is sufficient.
📄️ Social network limits exceeded, please try again later
Social networks set limits on user activity. Limits may pertain to the number of requests per hour or day, posting messages, subscriptions, likes, and other actions. These limits can be exceeded by both the user and any services connected to the account. In such cases, the restrictions apply to the entire account, including all associated services.
📄️ Limited access when connecting an account
When connecting the account, not all necessary permissions were granted. This means the service did not receive full access to all functions required for correct operation.
📄️ Video posting is disabled by group settings
Social media platforms allow administrators to set content posting parameters in groups. In some cases, video posting may be disabled, leading to an error when trying to post content via Postmypost.
📄️ Too many requests, please try again later
Request rate limits help maintain the stability of the service for all users. This is a standard practice used across all social networks to protect against overload and automated actions.
📄️ Unknown error
This error means that the social network returned a non-specific error code that does not contain precise information about the issue. It usually indicates temporary technical disruptions on the social network's side that are not classified as standard errors.
📄️ Server error on social network
This error means that the social network server is currently unable to process your request. This is a temporary issue that usually resolves itself within a short time. Social network servers sometimes become overloaded due to a large number of users or undergo scheduled maintenance.
📄️ Link attachment error
When publishing a post on a social network, a snippet is created — this is an image and description that are automatically loaded from the website you specify. If an error occurs during the retrieval of information from the website, the social network may not publish the post because it did not receive a response from the server.
📄️ Text length exceeds limit
Each social network has its own character limit. When posting through the official API, the limits may differ from those used in the app.
📄️ Social network does not accept media content
This error indicates that when attempting to post, your images, videos, or other media files were not accepted by the social network. The problem is usually temporary and related to technical limitations or failures on the social network's side.
📄️ Tariff period in this project has expired
The tariff period has ended, and access to some features may be limited.
📄️ Post limit reached
Social media platforms have restrictions on the number of posts allowed. These limitations depend on the platform and account type: some platforms have higher limits, while others have lower ones. Additionally, there may be temporary restrictions if activity is too high. These measures help maintain platform stability and prevent spam, so it's important to consider them when planning your posts.
📄️ Incorrect link for repost
Social networks allow reposting only publications from their own platforms. This means that the link must lead directly to a post on the same social network where you want to publish it. Reposting other types of content, such as pages or profiles, is not available.
📄️ Social media request for action on the account
Sometimes social media platforms request specific actions to be taken on an account. This might be related to activity verification, additional authorization, or other security measures. Such requests help platforms maintain account security and prevent suspicious activity.
📄️ File size must not exceed 10 MB for images, 50 MB for videos, and a total limit of 50 MB when posting multiple files in one post
Like other social networks, Telegram has requirements for width, height, bitrate, audio rate, and other file parameters.
📄️ User is not a business account on Instagram
This error occurs if you try to use features available only to business accounts or creator accounts on Instagram, but your account is personal.
📄️ Social media doesn't publish spam posts
Some social networks block the publication of identical posts in a short period of time. This is done to prevent spam.
📄️ Bot doesn't have permission to send messages
Publication in Telegram is done via a bot. To send messages and media content, it must be an admin of the channel with the necessary permissions.
📄️ Account connection limit exceeded
You have connected the maximum number of accounts available on your plan.
📄️ You may have exceeded the posting limit or the post content does not comply with social network rules
Each social network has limits on the number of posts as well as content requirements for posts.
📄️ No available accounts to connect
Each social network supports connecting specific types of accounts. If there are no available accounts to connect in your profile, they might be missing, or you may not have sufficient rights to use them.
📄️ Account does not support Reels, Shorts, or Stories
Some social networks do not allow certain types of content to be published through their API. We have implemented all possible publishing options, but if you see this message, it means the technical capability is not yet available on the social network's side.
📄️ Account does not support stickers in stories
Some social networks do not yet provide the ability to add stickers to stories when publishing through the official API. If you see this message, it means overlaying stickers is not available at the integration level. Everything is set up on the Postmypost side, and as soon as the social network adds support, we will implement it within 24 hours.
