Authorization error: The social network has reset access

This error means that Postmypost no longer has access to your social network account. This is a standard procedure: social networks may occasionally reset the connection to ensure that access remains up to date. In most cases, simply reconnecting the account is sufficient.

Possible causes

  • The account password was changed by you or another administrator. In this case, access needs to be renewed.
  • The token expired, and the social network requested re-confirmation.
  • The security or authorization settings in the social network have changed.
  • Not all necessary permissions were provided to Postmypost during the connection.
  • The user connecting the account does not have sufficient rights in the social network.

What to do?

  1. Open SettingsAccounts.
  2. Reconnect the account by following the instructions.
  3. If the error persists, check that all steps in the instructions were followed during the connection. Note that if any steps differ from the examples provided in the help center when connecting the account, the problem may be related to this.

If after reconnecting, access is reset again, contact support.
